Airbus A340-313, serial number 289, entered service with Air France as F-GLZS. The aircraft joined the airline's long haul fleet in the late 1990s and operated intercontinental routes from Paris Charles de Gaulle to destinations across Africa, Asia, and the Americas. Configured with business class, premium economy, and economy seating, it provided comfortable long distance service for international travelers. Powered by CFM56 engines, the A340-300 offered reliable performance and long range capability. F-GLZS served Air France for many years before the airline gradually retired the A340 fleet.
