Boeing 747-2L5B, registered B-HMF, flew for Air Hong Kong as part of the Hong Kong-based cargo carrier's fleet of 747-200 freighters supporting regional and international cargo operations. Air Hong Kong, majority owned by Cathay Pacific and DHL, has built its business around express and general cargo services connecting Hong Kong's major air cargo hub to destinations across Asia. As part of this historic freighter fleet, B-HMF supported Air Hong Kong's early cargo operations before the carrier modernized its fleet with newer Airbus A330 freighters in later years.
Designed as a large capacity airliner and freight hauler, the 747 was first flown on February 9th, 1969. © Copyright 2003-2026 The Flying Mule, Inc.
