Airbus A380-841, construction number 089, was delivered to Lufthansa as D-AIMA in 2010. The aircraft operated as one of Lufthansa's flagship long-haul jets, serving high-capacity routes from Frankfurt to destinations across North America, Asia, and the Middle East. D-AIMA featured Lufthansa's premium cabin configuration with first class, business class, and economy seating, along with advanced inflight entertainment and connectivity systems. Painted in the airline's blue and white livery, it provided efficient, high-capacity service on busy intercontinental routes. D-AIMA remained in service until Lufthansa began retiring its A380 fleet in the early 2020s, marking the end of its operational career.
Designed as the world's largest airliner, the double-decker A380 was first flown on April 27th, 2005. © Copyright 2003-2026 The Flying Mule, Inc.
