The ARTEC Boxer Skyranger is a short-range air defense (SHORAD) variant of the Boxer 8x8, developed by Rheinmetall to counter drones, helicopters, cruise missiles, and low-flying aircraft. It mounts the Skyranger 30 turret, armed with a 30 mm revolver cannon using programmable AHEAD ammunition, with options for integrated surface-to-air missiles. Advanced sensors include radar, electro-optical sights, and automated target tracking. The Boxer chassis provides high mobility, strong protection, and space for command and control systems, making Skyranger well suited for protecting maneuver forces and critical assets in modern high-threat environments.

The Panzerkampf 1:72 scale GTK Boxer is a highly detailed reproduction of the modern 8x8 armored vehicle, with releases showcasing several visually distinctive configurations. Major variations include the standard armored personnel carrier with remote weapon station, command vehicle with additional communications equipment, ambulance with its distinctive raised-roof medical module, and specialized mission configurations. The Boxer's modular design allows different mission bodies to be fitted to the common eight-wheel drive platform, creating noticeably different profiles while retaining the characteristic armored cab and chassis. Detailed armor panels, hatches, weapons, equipment, rubber tires and authentic camouflage and unit markings make Panzerkampf's Boxer family especially collectible.
