Boeing 787-10, construction number 60284, was delivered to Singapore Airlines as 9V-SCN in 2018 as part of the airline's launch fleet for the stretched Dreamliner variant. The aircraft entered service on regional and medium haul routes across Asia and to Australia, gradually replacing older widebody types. 9V-SCN featured Singapore Airlines' modern cabin products, including regional business class, premium economy, and economy seating, along with advanced inflight entertainment. Powered by Rolls Royce Trent 1000 TEN engines, the 787-10 provided improved fuel efficiency, range, and passenger comfort. 9V-SCN became a key component of Singapore Airlines' fleet strategy, supporting high frequency services while maintaining premium standards and operational flexibility.
Designed as a mid-sized, wide-body airliner and constructed out of mostly composite material, the 787 was first flown on December 15th, 2009. © Copyright 2003-2026 The Flying Mule, Inc.
