Boeing 787-10, construction number 65990, was delivered to Korean Air as HL8536 in 2024 as part of the airline's long haul fleet modernization program. The aircraft entered service on regional and intercontinental routes from Seoul Incheon, serving destinations across Asia, Oceania, and North America. HL8536 features Korean Air's updated cabin design with Prestige business class, economy class seating, and advanced inflight entertainment. Powered by Rolls Royce Trent 1000 TEN engines, the 787-10 offers improved fuel efficiency, extended range, and reduced emissions compared with older widebody types. HL8536 supports Korean Air's strategy of operating environmentally efficient aircraft while maintaining high passenger comfort and operational flexibility across its expanding global network.
