Airbus A380-841, construction number 094, was delivered to Lufthansa as D-AIMI in 2010. The aircraft served as one of Lufthansa's flagship long haul jets, operating high-capacity routes from Frankfurt to destinations in North America, Asia, and the Middle East. D-AIMI featured Lufthansa's full premium cabin layout, including first class, business class, and economy seating, along with advanced inflight entertainment and connectivity. Powered by Rolls Royce Trent 900 engines, it offered improved efficiency and passenger comfort on high-demand routes. As Lufthansa gradually reduced its A380 fleet in the early 2020s, D-AIMI was withdrawn from service, marking the end of its operational career.
