Ilyushin Il-76TD, construction number 076345903, was delivered to Volga-Dnepr Airlines as RA-76503 in 1996. The aircraft is a strategic airlifter used for transporting oversized and heavy cargo on international routes from the airline's Russian and global hubs. RA-76503 features a rear cargo door with ramp, reinforced flooring, and long-range fuel capacity, making it capable of carrying machinery, vehicles, and humanitarian supplies to remote or undeveloped regions. It has supported commercial, government, and relief missions worldwide. With its rugged design and reliability, RA-76503 remains a key asset in Volga-Dnepr's fleet, demonstrating the Il-76's enduring role in strategic air cargo operations.
