Boeing 787-10, construction number 65992, was delivered to Korean Air as HL8573 in 2024 as part of the airline's modern Dreamliner fleet expansion. The aircraft entered service on regional and long haul routes from Seoul Incheon, including destinations across Asia, Oceania, and select intercontinental flights. HL8573 features Korean Air's updated cabin layout, with Prestige business class, economy class seating, and modern inflight entertainment and connectivity systems. Powered by Rolls Royce Trent 1000 TEN engines, the 787-10 offers improved fuel efficiency, extended range, and reduced emissions. HL8573 supports Korean Air's strategy of operating environmentally efficient aircraft while maintaining high passenger comfort and operational flexibility across its network.
