Airbus A340-541, serial number 556, entered service with Singapore Airlines as 9V-SGD. The aircraft supported the airline's ultra long haul operations connecting Singapore with North America. Configured with a premium cabin layout, it provided comfortable seating and modern inflight entertainment designed for extended flights. The A340-500 was specifically developed for very long distance routes and offered exceptional range. Powered by Rolls Royce Trent 553 engines, 9V-SGD delivered dependable performance on some of the longest nonstop commercial flights in the world.
