Boeing 747-281F/SCD, serial number 23138, entered service with Nippon Cargo Airlines as JA8167 in December 1984. JA8167 was historically significant as NCA's first aircraft, arriving at Narita in January 1985 and helping inaugurate the carrier's Tokyo-San Francisco-New York freight service that May. Powered by four General Electric CF6-50E2 engines, the purpose-built freighter featured both nose and side cargo doors for handling large shipments. After more than two decades with NCA, it was sold in 2006 and became Southern Air N758SA. It was withdrawn at Mojave in 2012.
