Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, registered D-ABPF, was the first Lufthansa 787-9 delivered fitted with the airline's new Allegris cabin, landing at Frankfurt from Seattle on August 30, 2025, becoming both the first Allegris-equipped Dreamliner and the first Allegris aircraft based at Lufthansa's largest hub. The delivery came with an unusual complication: although the aircraft had been built more than a year earlier, only four of its 28 business class suites were certified for passenger use at launch due to delays in seat approval, with the remaining seats blocked from sale until regulators granted full clearance. D-ABPF debuted commercially on the Frankfurt to Toronto route that October.
Designed as a mid-sized, wide-body airliner and constructed out of mostly composite material, the 787 was first flown on December 15th, 2009. © Copyright 2003-2026 The Flying Mule, Inc.
