Airbus A300B2-1C, serial number 021, operated by Lufthansa as D-AIAA and named "Garmisch-Partenkirchen." The aircraft carried the Airbus test registration F-WNDA before being delivered to Lufthansa in February 1976. As one of Lufthansa's early A300s, D-AIAA helped establish the world's first twin-engine widebody on high-capacity European and short-haul routes from Frankfurt. Lufthansa operated the aircraft until December 1983, when it transferred to Air Inter as F-BUAM. It continued flying with the French domestic carrier before being withdrawn at Paris-Orly in 1992. The pioneering A300 was finally broken up at Orly in May 1994.

Airbus A300
