AeroClassics 1:400 Series AC411046
Boeing 737-230 Diecast Model
Lufthansa Express, D-ABFB

Limited Edition

1:400 Scale   Length   Width
Boeing 737-230   3"   2.75"

Boeing 737-230(Adv), was registered as D-ABFB with Lufthansa, wearing the carrier's "Lufthansa Express" sub-brand livery used between 1992 and 1994 for select domestic and short-haul German routes; the manufacturer serial number for this specific airframe is not confirmed in available public records. Lufthansa operated 737s for nearly five decades in total, and D-ABFB represented this particular branding chapter within the airline's broader narrowbody fleet before the Express sub-brand was eventually discontinued. The short-lived Express identity was one of several sub-brand experiments Lufthansa pursued during the early 1990s as the newly reunified Germany's domestic aviation market underwent significant restructuring, though the airline ultimately consolidated its short-haul operations back under the standard Lufthansa livery and brand identity by the mid-1990s.

Please note: An optional display stand is available separately if you wish to display this model "in-flight".

Boeing 737-230

Designed as a smaller, short-ranged alternative to the Boeing 707 and 727, the 737 was first flown on April 9th, 1967. Over its long operational carreer, the 737 has spawned numerous variants ranging in capacity from less than 100 to more than 200 seats. In fact, the 737 series is the best-selling jetliner in aviation history with more than 6,500 aircraft manufactured to date and more than 4,500 still in service with over 500 airlines around the world. Incredibly, there is a 737 taking off or landing somewhere in the world, on average, every five seconds.
